Abstract
With the recent development of digital technologies, industrial structures and competitive environments have changed rapidly, and the era of digital transformation has finally triggered the transformation of the industrial eco-system itself. Reflecting on the growing interest of both practitioners and researchers, this special issue prepares a platform for discussions and explores how digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data interact with the organization's work environment, how digital transformation drives business innovation and value, and further, what other opportunities and risks within it should be considered for substantiality management based on various management perspectives. Through the nine selected papers on the subject of digital transformation, it is hoped to better understand the huge flow of digital transformation in the organization and its surrounding ecosystem from diverse perspectives, and further inquiry of academic implications in addition to practical insights embedded within.
