Abstract
The using of mobile phone banking service has promoted by the remarkable growth of smartphone users. The banks have believed that it will bring the changes in the banking services by the various services types. As the new smartphone banking service, mobile wallet service became an important service channel in the banking market. This paper presents the successful case study of mobile wallet service, 'N Wallet by Hana bank', based on the five approaches; 'development process', 'market orientation', 'service planning', 'project management', and 'information technology', as the critical success factors of new service by Menor and Roth(2007). Hence the case suggests that market trend reading and user research are the important processes to deliver the successful mobile wallet service, and supportable organizational culture and integrating user-based technologies are helpful to manage the mobile wallet service the successful.
