Abstract

X-mon Games is a mobile game development company, which have provided five mobile games since 2011. Kyoungho Kim, the founder of X-mon Games, started a venture business as an undergraduate student in college. Majored in Business Administration at college, Kim established X-mon Games to provide mobile games involved with strong strategy and tactics. X-mon games has achieved fast growth in the mobile game market for its ability to create various kinds of games that reflect users’ real-time reviews and preferences. For example, , , , , and have gained large popularity, and it only took X-mon Games 4 years to accomplish such good performance. Especially, a game, which will be released in 2015, is expected to be the original shooting game in the mid-core RPG(Role-playing Game) area. While X-mon Games strive to seek growth with its novel products, many argue that Korean mobile game market is soon to be reorganized by those game developers challenging the market with hard-core RPGs. X-mon now confronts a direct competition with several hard-core RPGs, and Kim needs to grapple with the situation in order to have a successful release of .
