Abstract
This study discusses organization change issues of Seoul National University Cooperative in 2001. Seoul National University Cooperative showed slow growth and was a stable organization in management performance. However, there were many people employed for long- term and the organization members were not so motivated, thus, consisting a lethargic organizational culture. Therefore, Seoul National University Cooperative needed organization changes to attain essential organization goals and desirable management performance. This paper discusses how a stagnant organization attempted to achieve both organizational goals and individual goals based on a performance-oriented organizational culture using a new human resource management strategy.
